2 watermelon paloma cocktails with watermelon, lime, and mint

Watermelon Paloma

The Paloma cocktail is a popular Mexican drink made with tequila, soda or sparkling water, lime juice, and grapefruit juice. To create an even lighter and more refreshing version of the Paloma, we swapped out grapefruit for watermelon.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups watermelon
  • 1 orange, peeled
  • 2 oz silver tequila
  • ½ lime 
  • Salt for rim
  • Sparkling water for topping
  • Fresh mint (garnish)

Serves 1. 

Product Needed

Kuvings Whole Slow Juicer, assembled with juicing strainer.

Directions

  1. Juice watermelon, orange, and lime. Allow the juicer to process each portion before adding more ingredients. 

  2. Run a lime wedge around the rim of your glass and coat in salt. Fill the glass halfway with ice.

  3. Pour juices and tequila into the glass. Fill the rest of the glass with sparkling water. 

  4. Garnish with mint, watermelon, and lime, if desired.
