Zero-Waste Juice

Juice your food scraps too! Pairing vegetable stems and tops with complementary ingredients make for a good juice!

Ingredients

You can use any fruit and vegetable scraps you have! This recipe uses:

  • Kale stems
  • Beet tops
  • Carrot tops
  • Broccoli stems
  • Pineapple
  • Beet

Serves 2.

    Product Needed

    Kuvings Whole Slow Juicer, assembled with the juicing strainer.

    Directions

    1. Gather the washed ingredients together. Prepare pineapple, peeling and chopping up to fit juicer. If desired, peel the beet.
    2. Insert ingredients into the juicer, alternating frequently. Since many of the ingredients are fibrous, alternating between them ensures the pulp comes out smoothly.
    3. Serve (ice optional) and enjoy!
